SCRIP, (merchant gift certificates), is an ongoing fundraiser at HSP. Funds are directly available from merchants by parishioners using their discounted certificates. These certificates are purchased by HSP and exchanged for cash from shoppers at face value. This process is at no extra cost to the purchaser of SCRIP. It is a A percentage is given back to HSP for our Building Fund. When a parishioner uses these certificates, the merchant accepts them at face value as though they were cash or a check. Please plan your shopping needs ahead of time and buy enough certificates to cover the projected expense, (of groceries, etc.).
Our SCRIP fund gets a small percent of your scrip purchase when you buy the Scrip certificates through Holy Spirit. We have 33 merchants in Hemet, (gas, groceries, retail and specialty shops) who are actively participating with us in the SCRIP program. There are 125 businesses in Southern California and more nationally. This makes SCRIP ideal to take with you when travelling, or as a gift for friends across the nation.

    which send dividends to HSP when they are used.
